hydrophilic polymer and potassium ferrate.
The powder forms an occlusive physical seal
through simultaneous iron-mediated
agglomeration of blood solids/proteins and
rapid dehydration of the blood. This seal
stops the flow of blood and protects the site.
BIOSEAL ADVANCED Powder is not a
vasoconstrictor or a cauterizing agent. It is
non-systemic and passed all FDA-required
biocompatibility testing.
